Arterria Rushing
Arterria Renee Rushing is the daughter of Arthur and Tamika Rushing. She is dearly loved by her sister Josscia King, and her brothers J’Lon Sanders and DeMarkus Lodge. Arterria is a proud senior at Cedar Hill High School, where she will be graduating in the top half of her class.
Arterria is a member of Business Professionals of America. She enjoys playing basketball, running track and cross country. Arterria has participated in the JROTC program for two years where she was promoted to Deputy Group Commander and was runner-up for the 2012 Military Ball Queen.
Arterria has been blessed to be a member of Concord Church for three years. She admires and loves the people in her community. Arterria has accomplished over 30 hours of community service, some of which have included donating blood to American Red Cross and volunteering at the Tri-City Animal Shelter in Cedar Hill.
After high school, Arterria plans to attend a community college for one year and then transfer to Texas A&M University at College Station where she will major in computer engineering with a minor in Accounting. She will further her career by later joining the United States Air Force performing engineering work. Arterria believes that everything is possible through Jesus Christ, and she will always remember to put God first.
Arterria is being escorted by Quinton Phillips, the son of Michelle Phillips. He is currently enrolled at Collin County Community College.
